At Jan Aushadhi Vitran, we believe in being honest — especially when things don’t go as planned.
A few months ago, we launched our whey protein in collaboration with Walter Healthcare, trusting that the product matched our standards for quality, performance, and safety. We were excited, and so were many of you.
But soon after launch, we started receiving feedback that the product wasn’t performing up to expectations. We took it seriously. After internal testing and quality checks, we made a tough but necessary decision:
We immediately stopped selling the product — halfway through our launch.
We didn’t wait for the stock to clear. We didn’t ignore the signs. Instead, we:
• Issued refunds to customers who had already purchased the product
• Sent all remaining stock back to Walter Healthcare, our manufacturing partner
• Paused all future production until the issue is fully resolved
It Cost Us a Fortune — But It Was the Right Thing to Do
This wasn’t a small decision. We had invested heavily in this product — financially, logistically, and emotionally. But no cost is greater than losing your trust.
We’re now working closely with Walter Healthcare to re-evaluate the entire process, from sourcing to formulation. Our goal is not just to fix what went wrong — but to come back stronger, with a product that reflects the quality we stand for.

We’ll relaunch the whey protein only when we’re confident it’s ready — and worthy of your expectations.
